I'm assuming your snake uses balanced lines.
In theory, no, since by definition a balanced input circuit will reject any signal that is present (and in phase) on both signal conductors of a balanced line. But in practice, using a balanced line won't completely protect you from external noise sources.
Bottom line, why temp fate?
