Hello all:
I recently added a Delta 44 to my system (1.6 ghz, 521 ram, GT3, tracktion for the hell of it, Sonar 4 on the way). Anywho, when record gtr using the 44's input (1/4 TS cable halfway in so as not to be TRS) I get good level using -10 sensitivity (tried consumer and +4 but guuitar output not hot enough) but the "monitored input" has a background "static" similar to digital distortion. Get this, the actual recorded signal does not have the stuff "grainy mess" I hear when I input monitor. The recorded signal is clear as a bell. I am puzzled. I have the mixer monitor control selected on the Delta's applet and input monitor selected in GT3. When I used TS conncector (tip sleeve) fully inserted I got more grainy stuff ( basically higher level), use ts and it is less. What to do? Thanks again.
