Noise Gate for Kaoss Pad Mixer

Just wondering if SPIN, or any other intelli spinnas out there knew of any solid, relatively affordable noise gates, or similar pieces that I could use to eliminate some of the transient type noises that come of this thing, it's pretty freakin unreal how loud the noise floor is on this thing. Granted I can get some of it out with Soundforge-esque plug-ins/noise reducers but it'd be nice if we could eliminate it before it got into the DAW. Any thoughts/ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks.....

Look at the DBX 166 or 266. I use the dbx166

Can the majority of those units work just like regular Compressors as well as noise gates, for any/all instruments, or just the mixa??? That DBX 1066 looks mighty finnnnne..........

Yes, you can use it in your regular recording setup.
