nofo on my black face..

I,ve researched for many hours the reasons why my black face adat loves to show that dredded error ...nofo...yes i have tried numerous tapes...and yes.. it has just been serviced with no problems found by the technician. It seems that it takes at least an hour or so before the problems arise.. any clues????anyone???

Try reformatting a whole new tape. Fastforward to the end first, then do a long format by running to through the whole thing for 40 minutes. Play with the tape for a while and see what happens. If you still get it im willing to bet theres a software glitch, or theres a short in the circuit somewhere. Anyways best of luck!
