Gerg should start a fanclub for all his adoring fans to join. When they write in, they get a signed Gerg photo and a couple of pin badges to put on their satchels.

Actually ...... that sounds like a great idea! Where do I send my stamped addressed envelope?

Gidge receives all of my fan mail. Take a pic of your shaved genitals and send it to him. If it's worthy, he'll pass it on to me. ;)

I'm pretty sure he filters out all the pre-pubescent ones for his own personal collection, so if I send a shaved pic my balls could end up in a very unpleasant situation.

Hmm, good point. I don't know where to go with this now since I made my resolution. ;)

Let's talk some more about your music.

Do you ever use amps at all? Or has recording really changed so much in the last couple of years that guitars sound best DI'd straight into 'British Tweed', 'Clean Twin', 'Higain Modern' and the like?

I use my amp if I need a clean sound. But Guitar Rig sounds better. Maybe one day when you record music you might like to try it out. It's pretty cool. ;)

I have a stack of amps laying about in the studio including a few vintage tube amps. I think guitar modeling has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years and if you know how to use one right it's often quicker and a lot more practical (space saving, noise seperation while tracking) to dial in a sound you know will work. Or you can spend best part of a day setting up an amp with different mic's and techniques in a less than impressive sounding room and scratch your recently shaved scrotum for the best past of the session only to reamp it the next day with a modler while your gonads cool down from all the scratching :)

Vincent Ford, the composer of this tune died like two days ago. Nice tribute to him, I think :)

That would mean buying it. I've got an unopened copy of BFD2 still in its shrink wrap on top of my printer, yet another brilliant purchase. :laughings:

I've got a Vox AD15VT that I bought with the intention of using for recording, but the only two decent models on it are the AC15 and the AC30, the Fenders, Marshalls etc sucked to my ears. Clearly things have moved on in the software world!!

I bought Superior 2.0, you can probably tell by my latest mix in the clinic ;)

Strange that eh...vox modling their own amps better than fenders and marshals?

HAHAHAHAHA!

At least Line6 had no such loyalties, they just wanted everything to have more gain ........ much more gain.

This is an excellent remake all the way around ...

If I were to try to be critical of the mix, I'd just be making shit up.

Great job, G.

Was this Superior?

If so, what kit? (I've got Superior too ... I mean 2 ... um - :D) ... I took it as real.

I'm all out of shaved genital pics, but I'd like to join the fanclub anyway. Great version!

of course it's real. You deserve to have a genital fire for such thoughts ;)
