No transport thing?

I always had that but now when I press F2 nothing happens. It checks it in the menu that it's on but it's now where to be found.

Somewhere in the menu - I believe it's under- 'modules', click on "show transport bar". If it already says "hide transport bar", just click on it twice.

I know it sounds stupid but have you tried minimising the main arrange page. Its unlikely but it could be hiding behind there in which case you may have to change some settings in the windows drop down menu. Also it may be placed right near the edges of the screen.
