I think the mix sounds great. I don't think it needs anything. I know that's not much help, but there it is.

Cool song too, I'd love to hear Cheap Trick do this.

sounds really good to me especially that guitar tone, good mix as well, I had a listen to the other stuff and was pleasantly surprised, you just gained a soundcloud follower.

I like the song as well as the mix, no critiques from me... sounds great!

Mix is great and song is really good. I love the way the bass comes through.

Some really really excellent guitar tones you've got going on here, a top notch mix.. This one's ready for the CD Plant!

Thank you paparoof. I'm glad you like. Cheap Trick - why not? :)

Thank you Btyre. And thanks for following....

Thank you Philly. I'm glad you like it. No plans for release this or my other songs, at least not yet....

Great chords in this one, totally dug it in every way. Reminded me of sort of a modernized Beatles ala their '64 sound.
Very nice mix too.

I thought this sounded pretty good. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Very good singing. Nice harmonies. The bass sounded good to me.

Drums were a little mechanical sounding.

The guitars sounded decent. But both the clean and crunch guitars had just a bit too much upper midrange bite for me. Just slightly harsh.

The reverb you gave it, and level you have it, gives it kind of a 70's pop song feel to it. Not sure if that's what you want or not. I'd give it a small room reverb and just a splash of it. It'd give it a more modern sound.

Thank you TripleM. I will check those gtrs "once" again. The 70's feel or actually more like 60's feel was what I wanted. There's only one "common" reverb in all tracks + a few delays on vox track. When I was mixing this, I tested several different reverbs and ended up to this one which is some "ambience 1,2 sec if I remember it right...

I did one more mix, just a little changes here and there, mostly on vox levels. Any comments?

Great job, I didn't hear the original version, but I'm still hearing a 60's vibe...trying to pinpoint where it's coming from. Everything sounds really good, not much I can offer here especially since I have some cheapo headphones on at the moment. Honestly, this is of a quality that doesn't show up here all too often, in my experience.

This isn't the sub-forum for it, but what's your vox signal chain and microphone?

Thank you Andrushkiwt. I'm glad you liked it.

I used Kel HM-7 mic > GAP Pre 73 > Apogee Duet > Logic X
Plugins: Eiosis AirEq > Waves De-esser > Slate's VMR (VCC, FG-N, FG-116)
Aux's: Valhalla Room, Waves H-delay
