COuld it have been a screwup at Musician's Friend?

Four years ago I was shopping for a new monitor and looking for proces on these ViewSonic PS790 19" monitors. Buy.com had it for way lower than anyone else, like $100 less or so, so I ordered one. A day later the price was back in line with everyone else. No sale ort anything going on, somebody must have fat-fingered something in data entry and later, somebody caught it, and I happened to luck out and stumble on it during the right time frame...

They had the deltas for 99,- for quite a long time. Weeks, if not months.

they're different versions

the $99 ones that were at musicians friend had older AKM converters. Even the specs showed 10db less than the current 410 PCI card at $199. At these prices, consider the EMU, or if you find an older $99 410 somewhere, check to see if it's specs aren't lower than that of the consumer revolution 24/96/192 $99 card!
