Okay, I've "beefed" up the guitar, redid the vocals, and remixed this song. Let me know what you think. The Previous one is still up there for comparison (the "_01" version)

I remember this from before. I'm trying to recall, but I think this version is better. Nice song. Good power to the mix.

You might want to play with a more "intimate" reverb - at least on the guitars. This one sounded like a large room or somthing similar. If it were me, I'd go for a "smaller" reverb.

The backing vocals on the chorus could be brought up just a bit. The guitars kind of go awry at :12-:14.

Minor things. Good job.

TRIPLEM: Hey thanks! I hear what your saying with the reverb. The first version had practically no-reverb on it, so i figured I'd give it a bit here...maybe too much. Thanks for the advice!

hmmm...not getting much help on this one this time around...it must be perfect! ...but I know that's not the case. Is it that bad of a song that I'm not getting much feed back? Well in anycase, I'll let this one die if I hear nothing back.

thanks!

any comments out there?

No reply...

(Now THAT's lame)

No serious; that's a holl lot of reverb on that guitars; I don't like it.
Bring the drums more up.
Everything seems to have a phaser on it, eg the snare. The vox sound good to me.

F_CKSIA: Lame, but kinda a funny and sadly ironic...I'm getting no reply to "No Reply".

Ya, you're totally right. I was trying to beef up the tone and did it with reverb instead of other options. I think I ended up just kind of muddying it up more. I think you'd actually like the first version i did that's still up there. The guitars are a little anemic, but everything you've suggested is in that version one...

Thanks for the reply and feedback!

Hey Robert8! This is a cool tune! Good vox dood.

Stuff I would have changed is;

Guitars much much less echo verb stuff. Mind you, it's kinda a cool effect, but either go more extreme or cleaner. It's kinda stuck between cool effect and too much echo verb.

Drums much louder. roll off the bottom on the kik.

Other'nat performance is good on everything.

Cos.

Good tune. A couple of things I noticed, other than the stuff listed above.

Bring the vox down just a pinch?

How about...

The acoustic solo at 1:38 panned to center and the rhythm acoustic chord hits spread left / right?

I would also say to lose the outta-phase sound on the snare. Nasty!
