Hey, I'm a new guy and hopefully I'm not in the wrong place. I'm having some issues with Garageband on a Macbook Pro laptop. I'm running my guitar into an M-Audio Fast Track interface which goes to my computer via USB.

It worked great for a few weeks once I figured it out and I was enjoying the amp simulators etc etc. Randomly, I got no output from my guitar. Usually I would use it as an amp while I tweaked tones, practiced and such. When it stopped I got no response from the guitar and nothing when I hit play. It registered input and iTunes played as well as all other audio. I checked the devices and switched them around but nothing fixed it. I heard enabling ducking would fix it but it did nothing at all.

Any help?

I've been trying to fix this for weeks and suddenly something I've tried multiple times worked. Sorry for the double post. I hope to stick around though.

I'm glad you resolved your problem. If this happens in the future, you might want to check that track monitoring is on. Right click on the "arm track" button (the red recording dot) on the guitar track you want to use and make sure you have monitoring enabled.
