I made comments on some your stuff just before you made this post.

Maybe it's the off pitch thing that's got cats holding their tongues.

Most cats just listen to yout steez and don't speak.
 
i tried the hi-fi version of your snippets but they didn't work. i almost gave up, but i clicked the low-fi of 'On the Fly'.

'On the Fly' turned out to be the one i liked the least, and thats good because I liked that well enough. The beats seem to be well mixed as well. of course, i'm listening on headphones so you have to take that comment for what it's worth.

i'm not going to comment on your mix cause i don't know too much about what each instrument should properly sit in a mix and sound like yet, but as far as the groove, i listened to the last 3 joints. i can imagine mary j, slum village, or common rocking either of those. that's just to name a few. mellow creations with potential. keep it up.
