Sounds about right through earbuds. (I'll listen through the big guys later.)

Why '25 years too late'?

Why '25 years too late'?

Hey dobro!

Let me explain.. maybe I shouldn't post it yet (not that you asked) because the lyrics aren't finalised yet.

It's 25 years too late (maybe '25 years late' rather than '25 years too late' might have been a better descriptor) because 'can't get away from myself no matter where I go' and being 'haunted by my own ghost' is something that was said as part of a conversation with somebody many years ago shortly before they died of a heroin overdose and this is something I could/should have done back then but didn't.

Not sure why I'm doing it now really, sometimes things just, arrive...

Listened through monitors - it just sounds better through bigger speakers. There's nothing I'd tweak. You feel the same or are you unsure?

I think this sounds pretty good. Well structured song. Midi-y. But still sounds nice.

Vocal sounds nice.

Bass level is just right. Kick and bass are playing well together.

Keys sound OK.

Has nice warm tones. The AI vocals are interesting, very human-like and natural sounding

I was gonna say everything sounds nice, but the auto-tuned vocals sound so lifeless (as do most vocals that are auto-tuned to death these days - not a fan of tuning vocals at all). But if they're AI-generated/processed, maybe you have no choice in that regard?

Edited a lot!

That auto-tuned sound is, for me at least, currently inherent In AI generated vocals. The more I use generated vocals the better they are sounding but I can't get them to sound 'right' yet.

As for tuning human vocals, I think it sounds great when done well to make it sound like they're natural and not pitch corrected at all, not a fan when it's use is obvious.
