no audio on recording

I tried to capture video and audio from a ati all in wonder soudn card to an avi file. I got the video but cannot get the audio. Any help woould be appreciated, thanks Geo.

How do you have it hooked up ?
Whats the software your using ?

I tried Premier, and I also used the tv capture of my all in wonder. i get a video track and an audio , owever, no audio plays on either. i plug my video camera ( analogue) into it via the "purple" doggle. i get sound and video on the monitor (tv) from the ati card but not when i capture it. ??????????

any ideas? thanks geo.

Do you have your audio output muted? I did that once and thought I had screwed something up. Now I check my settings from time to time, just to be sure I didn't click the wrong thing someplace.
