i accidentally named a wav file as another one which i already have... aaaahhhhhh... i dont think windows has a general "undo" button does it :(
 
Unfortunately no. If you had deleted it you could salvage it from the trash bin, but renaming like that is not reversable by the normal OS.

There are utilities that might undo that, but in my experiance you need to have them installed BEFORE you make the mistake or they are useless.
 
Not trying to be funny, but when you saved the file, didnt it tell you that another file was already named that and ask you if you wanted to replace it?....If not, then it might be that you saved it in a different folder...you can have two files with the same name in different folders.....
