It does sound like there is an out of tune guitar in that solo. It is just a little bit out, which is worse than anything. It really draws my ear to it.

GREAT MIX though and great vocals. ALSO Great drum sound for canned drums. They are fat with pretty good tom sounds!

Really sounds great Mike, vocals are killer,Jagular has a some voice man!
The acoustic guitars sound much better, full and sweet.

One great collaboration, did you use mp3's or wav.files?
Great mixing job!

Really fine work, thanks for sharing it guys,
Pete

VERY nice.....and the new vox definitely improves it tremendously. Jagular....better watch it.....you're gonna have a new career as an internet collaborator and I can tell you; the pay's not all that good! :D Good vocals man.

And dachay....I've already posted on the song and your tracks...I liked it then and I still like it now.

I'm still waiting for my $0.11 for this one. No more collaborations until I'm paid in full.;) :D

GREAT RECORDING!-really clean-great acoustic sounds-except an out of tune solo?-Very good vocal track-great sound great performance. Nice mixing of the Bg's. I like the fade adding verb-I use that trick too---Drums sounded good-though it sounds like i hear an out of timeness occasionally-but if these are prog drums I guess that can't be??? I think a tambourine every other beat during the chorus would take it up another notch-a little of that Spector sound action-a super verbed vibra slap???? lol sorry man getting carried away. Nice job sounds great!

Check's in the mail. :)

Beezoboy - thanks for listening. I'll check the guitar tracks a little closer. I don't hear it, but my ears have been shot for years. Your comments on the drums will make our drummer happy.

Pete - thanks again. The way we did this is I sent jagular an .mp3 of the mix without the lead vocal. He loaded the .mp3 into Cakewalk, added the vocal track, and then snail mailed me a CD with a wave track of just the vocal. I dropped the wave into our original project and seasoned to taste. So the mix you listened too was all based on waves - no .mp3's.

Lt. - thanks for the nice words. Jag, watch out, Bob is the king of collaborators. :D

just dropped in to say 'nice one guys'...

nice one guys... lol

his voice does seem to suit the music...

Great job! That was exellent.. The sound, vocals, acoustic guitar were all great...

A few tunage problems on the guitar solo but nothing to worry bout cause I am not worried cause it's no biggy so don't fret none. No pun intended......... :D

Loved the fade at the end!!

Excellent recording and production.Very professional.Kudos!

(sorry that's the only word I could come up with cuz I hate to say the same sh*t in every thread)

strat - I missed you on the last go around. You most have posted at the same time I did. I love it when a mix starts giving you ideas. It must mean you were getting into it. :) BTW, they aren't programmed drums. Roland V-Drums. Triggered sounds, but they are played. I think I hear one out of time snare hit myself that I've been meaning to check out.

participant - thanks. Glad you "dropped in."

Scott - OK. OK. I give on the guitar tuning. I guess that means I need to retrack. :( Thanks for checking it out and for the kind words on the rest of the mix.

WISC - Kudo's works just fine for me. :D
