This is craig anderton's forum at musicplayer its not specifically a Sonar forum but Craig Anderton has chose Sonar as his Software of choice so he'll be able to help wit problems *warning his responses are far from swift but are very helpful

He is a well respected pro mixer/producer etc so all ya that say u can't use sonar for pro stuff eat that

Sonar kicks ass for pro stuff. I've spent some time behind a ProTools hardware system, and Sonar on a good stable system is just fine and just as good. I have had one crash in the last month with Sonar 2 and a Delta 1010 running WinXP. Pretty good.
Craig knows his shit about Sonar, too.

the thing that makes PT special is the H/W...but u can get a better setup in my opinion getting different peices of equipment from different places, lil mackie mixer, lynx2 soundcard, etc.
