NHT-10 is better than YORKVILLE'S ?

Hello My Fellow Musicians,

NHT-10 powered monitors are suppose to be a "AWESOME" monitor. According to some engineers the system that NHT-10 employs makes thier monitors very FLAT.

I am wondering what you guys & gals might Know about the YORVILLES vs the NHT-10's ? I am strongly considering purchasing the NHT-1O's at about $425 a pair from Amercian Music Supply. I welcome any thoughts, information or opinions. thanks.

I had never heard of NHT, and haven't seen the A-10's in any studios I have been in. I bought the Yorkville unpowered monitors for my home studio. The studios I use on a regular basis have (1) NS10s and Mackie824's. (2) NS10s, 824's and KRKV8's, (3) NS10's and Tannoy Reveals. I prefer the Yorkville by far over the NS10's because I can listen much longer on them. I also prefer them over the Reveals, which I find very narrow. But the Mackies and the KRKs are a step above I think.

Never heard the NHTs but I have the Yorkies. I'm REAL happy with them but can't give you a side by side.
