I have a left and right RCA output on my home studio. I had a(computer is toast)cool edit pro program-but I had better luck recording into a sound recorder(someone slap this guy-I know). I would save it and do some minor editing in cool edit-cutting unused space, I could see if the wave file was clipped and I would record it over with less volume. I used my windows Me CD burner. To be honest, I think that my cassette recordings sounded better than my CD’s.

This unit has an optical type S/P DIF format digital output connector(stereo). It says to use an optical cable to connect to a DAT recorder(not interested)or to a removable disc drive.

Is it possible to get a CD burner that I could hook up to an optical cable, or what would you recommend I do?

I guess I can answer my own question. Never occurred to me I could do that.

I just found out from guitar center that I could do this with a M-Audio Fast Track Pro Mobile USB Audio/MIDI Interface and a computer program for $200 or so. Hope I can do something. Anyone familiar with this?
