Hi, I have just finished mixing this track by my punk band Kneedeep.
If the board could have a listen and give me any feedback on the
recording/mix/song I would be greatfull. I am quite pleased with it
personally.

Hey Dave, this is another Dave :p Bet you never thought you'd run into another Dave.

Anyway, good punk sound here.
I dig the sound of the two vocalists together.
Good catchy songwriting too.
I personally think the guitars are little harsh on the high frequencies. I'd recommend EQing them a bit... they just sound to me like they're getting in the way of the vocals a bit and also sound kind of static-y on lower quality headphones. Not as bad on the regular speakers though.
Good job overall :D

Good songwriting

Chords, songwriting reminded me of good old Clash.

Can't say the guitar sound was what I like, but I am an old punk and you probably don't care about that anyhow. :D

Hey Snakedog. Thats remarkable, another Dave! Blimey!

The guitars already have a fairley severe EQ cutting the low and
high frequencies. It was my first time miking up a guitar cab and
will do things a bit different next time, maybe look at the amp and
distortion pedal settings a bit more. I will try EQ ing down the
HF a bit on this track to see if that helps, as I don't really want to
re-track.

Glad you both liked the song!

I don't think you have to re-track, but I think you should grab a pair of really shitty headphones or get a boom box and find out what we are hearing (if you dont all ready). I think just sitting with the EQ and putting it on flat and just slowly finding those bad frequencies may really help.

Anyway, I think this is a great song. I always love it when the newer punk is ACTUALLY PUNK, and none of that fake shit. Good job and great song, keep it up dude.

Something is causing popping... I'm listening through headphones, it seems like it is the bass drum possibly being to loud.
