Newbie with Delta 44 needs help...

Hello, I've recently upgraded my soundcard
from sblive to Delta 44...

Here is my question...
I only do vocal recording most of the time. (99.9%)
Here is what I wanna be able to do.

on track1: play the pure music wave file.
on track2: record vocal.

When I was using my sblive. I just have to check "line-in" for record. Then, I'll get my vocal track on track 2.
However, with the Delta 44, I don't know how to do that. Whenever I record, the music from track1 will be recorded into track2 as well. Plz help... and thx in advance =)

The same thing happens with me, I'd would also like to know what I can do to stop this from happening.

How many channels does the Delta 44 have? Is it full duplex? What do you mean by 'pure music wav file'? Where's this wav coming from?

It might be a simple thing like your not having nominated soundcard channels in Cool Edit yet, but I'm not sure because of the above questions.
