Ok, I've been at this for months and I still can't get things to work correctly. I am running Pro Audio 9 with a Roland XP-30.
Could someone please explane to me, in easy terms, how to get everything set up correctly. Here is how I have things set up and the issues I am having.
The synth is set on Local off, Remote off, and the control channel is set on 16. Power up mode is set as Last-Set
I have set up the instrument definition from Lil Chips for the XP-30 as the directions showed.
When I start to record a song, everything seems to work fine (As long as I turn the Echo off in Cakewalk)
After I shut things down and then return, the song doesn't play with the same patches. When I look at the settings on the synth, some of the channels are set up incorrectly (sending to channel 1) or receiving incorrectly.
This happens everytime I shut down and start back up. I have checked the battery on the synth and there is no problem there.
Is there anything in cakewalk that could be causing this? Can anyone help??????
Thanks in advance
