hi all, i would like to build a room separator such as hinged panels with wheels. this would be between my drums and sofa. i don't know what material to use and how thick these panels should be. after the panels are done i also plan on two corner bass traps and two broadband filters to the side of me. here are some pics to help you understand the layout. thank you to anybody that can help me on this. Hi there,

What do you want to make these for?
Is it an acoustic treatment thing to reduce reflections in your recording,
or an isolation thing to stop your noise carrying to the rest of the room?

hi steenamaroo, hope your doing well. this idea was proposed to me by a person that helped me set up my stuff for a small fee and at the time they also worked at g.c. it was proposed because i wanted to get a mic so i could record vocals. he said do the wall of gobos and put foam on a corkboard on the side wall and in front of that put a reflexion filter. so my back will be facing the foam and i would be singing into the filter. so i think the answer to your question would be an isolation thing, to stop the noise from carrying. i just want to get a mic like a rode nt1a or a sennheiser mk4 and get a real good vocal sound. but these days i have people telling me that i need tri bass traps, acoustic panels, vocal screen gobos, and clouds. two problems though........ its a rented appartment and........ i dont have a money tree in my backyard.
