Hello... new to home recording, I need some help getting my lexicon alpha/cubebase 4 set up working. You know what it's like... it's the really simple stuff that's getting in the way at the moment. Is there anyone near or in North Norfolk (UK) able to give (paid for) tutorial or assistance ? I am guessing this is the place to find someone... ? Thanks in advance. Michael

Did you read the top two treads in this forum? Those should go a long way to getting you going.

I assume your setup is that your Lexicon Alpha is going through a USB interface? The Lexicon Alpha should have its own ASIO driver?

If the Lexicon Alpha DOES NOT HAVE A Driver Installation, it will use the standard windows version ASIO driver. You might have a noticeable latency problem.

Download the ASIO4All driver. Just google, download from website and install it. It will reduce considerably the latency, to not noticing it at all, on the audio monitor playback.

The Alpha has it's own drivers. Get updated ones from Downloads | Lexicon Pro

Always use drivers specific to your interface before working with ASIO4All. This is mostly used for gear with no drivers. Alpha drivers are solid.
