Newbie needs advice:

Hey all. I just threw some vocals just so I can get some advice on how to make them sound better. Some of it is a little off pitch but I am concerned with making it sit better in the mix.

Ok, I had a problem too...it was only about 50 seconds....id like at least 3 minutes....

Next problem, I couldnt make out all the lyrics...it may be these headphones Im listening on......

Other than that, Im anxious to hear more....
 
Hey gidge, yeah dude, I am having a bitch of a time trying to get proper vocal levels, I was singing so friggin quiet and even then I think I heard some clipping.
 
Good start. Like the acoustic stuff. Couldn't quite make out the actual lyrics, but the melody line certainly works. Where to now? Any thoughts on a bridge or chorus - keeping it melow, or picking it up with drums and singing electric guitars down a verse or two in? BTW, if you can't bring the vocals up, matbe bring the rest down?
 
Hey thanks. Yeah, I am going to slowly work out a complete song with this. It actually just started out as a couple chrods and went from there.

As far as drums go, I would love to, I just don't have a program that will do that.

Electric Guitar? Yuck!!! :D hehe
