Newbie Effects question

I have a small behringer 1202 mixer that i plug into my onmistudio and I don't really have any experience with mixers. I am trying to learn about it myself by messing around, but I can't seem to grasp the FX Send concept. The mixer has one FX Send Input and each channel has a FX knob and there is a main FX knob ( As seen here):

All I want to be able to do is plug in my Korg PX4 effects processor and apply the effect to one or two tracks. How exactly do i do this? thanks
 
Hook up Effects Send or Aux Send 1 to the Korg Input. Hook up the effects output to the Effects Return or an empty channel.
