Newbe (Sound Cards)

I 'm on a budget and am trying not to spend more than $50 for a sound card. Is there such an animal?
This is what I'm running right now as far as PC:



Windows XP
Processor speed 1.1GIG Intel Celron
256MB Ram
Have 20GIG internal HD
80GIG external HD
CakeWalk Music Creator Pro
Would like to work on production
Using Keyboard for MIDI

Well, let me rephrase that. You might look at the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz ($80 retail, $55 here), but I would keep saving if I were you.

that Santa Cruz is a very respectable card for the price......may or may not have XP drivers.......
