newb question for monitor amp

brother rat

All mics sound the same.
I have a pair of Yorkville YSM-1 monitors, but nothing to power them with.
Can I use one of the outputs of a small headphone amplifier like an ART HeadAmp4? I'm assuming not, because the headphone amp is expecting a difference impedance and probably won't be able to drive the speakers.
What about a cheap stereo amplifier like Pyle Pro or something?
I know it's not the best, but I'm looking for a sub-$50 solution...

I take it they're passive?

As long as impedance matches, pyle pro looks fine.
I've used alesis ra100 for a while. It's cheap but it works.

I've used home hifi amps before with great success. Good ones, mind.

The Pyle amp is unlikely to have a very flat response, not sure about those speakers, but as long as you have a reference sound to go by, it'll work. The headphone amp would not have enough power for the speakers.
