Having bought a new amp (AVT 100 combo), I wanna get a pedal or two to help give me the tones I want.
I have no idea what pedals do what or what brands to get which is why I bought (and still own) a boss GT-3 so I had lots of FX.
What I want is to get a pedal that will give me a good rhythm sound (80's 'tallica, 80's maiden and the like) and a pedal I can stomp on to change that to a nice solo sound.
So some suggestions for some pedals and the brands would be much appreciated. Also an explanation of what pedals do what too coz if you just name a pedal I won't know what it does.
