Hey there, I just recently got into song writing and music production. I am a big fan of edm and house music so over the weekend I sat down and this is what I cam up with. My mastering is extremely basic and i used stock plug ins that I have with ableton. I am hoping get some insight on ways to improve, better master my tracks and just different production techniques in general.

This sounded OK to me. Nothing stuck out to me as needing fixing. Tonal balance of everything sounded good.

But I'm not an expert in this sort of music.

Thank you for the input though, much appreciated. Hope it was enjoyable to some extent.

Not a bad recording, mix seemed good.

On production arrangement hit about what was to be expected. I think around 1:35 and on, you probably would need to add more textures to keep it interesting. Instrumentals have to work harder to keep people interested to make up for the lack of lyrics and vocals.

Maybe step back and think about what would help people listen/dance to your music. Nice little tune.

Thank DM60. It was something that I put together in 2 days over the holiday weekend. Just kind of feel into the zone and put it together.

I tend to loose interest in one specific track and my mind wonders. I need to stay true and really put in everything I have instead of just force finishing something. I should have spent more time, hopefully the next one will get better.

Yea, I know the feeling, but this has good basics, nothing in the rule book that says you can't expand it.
