i've personally been a huge tool fan for quite a while now...i have the albums, shirts, ticket stubs, and even a tattoo as proof
but seriously, 10,000 days is somewhat of a letdown for me. it's not that it's terrible, or that they sold out, or any crap like that, it just seems to missing that certain intangible element that made their previous work so great. i feel as though they didn't make much progress on this album musically - many of the guitar, bass, and even drum parts sound like they're taken directly out of previous songs/albums.
maybe i'm trying to hold them to too high of standard, but the simple fact is that all of their previous material left me floored when i 1st heard it, and 10,000 days just didn't.
