I’m now using lewitt 240, sm 57, thru yamaha mg10xu into eq and compressor into Tascam DP 02. I’m not even sure the routing is correct but seems to work. Next big hurdle is getting recording into lap top and burn cd. Any advice. Btw, I’m an antique and only recording vocals and acoustic guitar.

Yeah, like a 2 channel USB interface for PC recording. Brilliant. A 6i6 focusrite , just saw one for $50 on Reverb. Record 2 channels at the same time guitar/voice in a DAW. A SM57 can do so much. the 240 is a new one. Not familiar with.

There's no need for an interface. The DP02 has a CD burner, and a USB output. You should be able to directly export your audio to a computer via the USB port. See pages 44-45 in the manual for the process.

You can burn CDs directly from the unit as well.
