what's goin on? aiight, check this out. i recently purchased a 61 key Korg Triton v2 Studio. i haven't fully learned this system out yet, but can you record on it? i also am wondering what other equipment i should buy to accompany this keyboard to conplete my studio. less as possible. can you help me out?

:cool: :D

ATTENT--UP:}

Your Korg workstation or DAW can record; [I think] CHECK the manual?

If you have a CDR slot on the keyboard, I'm sure it will mix down music you compile on its sequencer.

You will need headphones to hear what you are doing and, of course, monitors of quality to set the levels when you are ready to mix down. Then, if the Korg works like most DAWS, you will have to put the recorded tracks into two track stereo in order to burn a CD.

Methinks that you need to attack the manual and check out other information available here and at Triton sites.

I salute you.

Green Hornet :) :cool: :D

i learn by hands on. i know how to burn to CD. yeah it has a CD/RW built into it. so i know how to burn. i learned how to do that in a day. yeah you have to bounce the tracks to the two audio tracks. one of my questions were how do you, if you know how, record vocals. the manual said that it can, but doesn't tell you how. it records samples. but it doesn't record to a track that's already on the internal sequencer. i hope you understand what i'm saying. so i guess my new question is...should i use a cpu or a labtop for my sequencing for my vocals.

IMO it wouldbe easier to use a computer for vocals and your keyboard for instruments (thats what i do anyways)

aiight, thanx for the advice. do you have any preferences on what computer based studio i should use for my sequencing? also what else would be a good buy for adding onto my triton keyboard for my soon to be studio?
