New Tascam 1082 - will it work with card?

I'm getting a tascam firewire 1082 - Should I leave my EMU 0404 in the computer? or will the two conflict in any way? I'm thinking particularly of the ASIO's. I know that both come with their own... I'm not sure how that works. Can you have 2 Asios on one system?

i have a 1082 and i luv it, i use the asios on the unit not my s/c anymore cuz it's more efficient. but no i don't think u can use them both

expect conflicts... some have had some luck with the asio4all drivers... but i dont hold out much hope...
