Dammit, Jim, Shut Up!
Damn...first let me say that I WISH this was spam...big thick slices of spam--but its not. If it was, I might have one of these in my hands in a few months. So, please, no spam police on this one.
Anyway, Stephen Paul, microphone genius (remember, the guy that was driven away from this board a while back) and Alan Hyatt--the mic manufacturer (who was also driven away from the board) are teaming up--gee, I find this kind of amusing in an ironic sort of way--to produce a new Stephen Paul designed mic. Paul says it will be superior to his U87 3 micron mod without the variable polar patterns. Early 2003 release date.
Oh, and its interesting to me that Harvey Gerst--the one guy we haven't driven away--was the inspiration for the meeting between AH and SP.
Just thought that some would like to know. I'm sure some already do. I want one of these! Damn, I wished I worked for Studio Projects. It would be worth it to get throwen off the board just t have one of these.
