Myself, I really liked Status Quo - saw them quite a few times across the 70's - one of the best live bands ever. Their hits, as strung across an evening of hot, sweaty, head banging rock noise were a joy to jump to.
Not ultra noveau or ground breaking but certainly ground shaking and FUN.
The Horden Pavilion was Quo City any time they played there!
 
man I must be getting old but that sounds nothing like the status quo I remember. Big Fat Mama? I don't think so tim
