New soundcard

I´ll change my SBLive for a 1010lt. I´m almost sure that some changes should be done to my PC, see what I got

PIII Intel 500
128 mb RAM
20 GB Hd
64mb Gforce video card

Software: SONAR XL running in XP.

What do you think??. The Delta 1010lt should work well???. What about drivers???, I read somewhere that they´re hard to find and coudl give you some problems. Is that true??.

Your weak link is lack of RAM. Get more memory and you will be fine. You'll probably run out of harddisk space though pretty soon if you doing a lot of 8 track recordings.

yeah, what alfalfa said, plus no, that is not true about the drivers.....Delta drivers are fine....

That´s exactly what I was thinking, more RAM and another HD are the main changes that I need to do.
