new soundcard

Well I won't bore you with all the details of my plight, I'll just tell you my SBLive has got to go. Looking to find something hopefully under $200, to use with Sonar 2.0 xl . Running XP. Anybody with Sonar out there got a good idea? Thanks.

People say the Audiophile is a great card. I myself use an Audiotrak Inca88 because it has 8 ins and 8 outs, but I would go for the Audiophile myself if it wasn't for the "lack" of inputs (it has 2).

O.k I did some looking, and the Audiophile 2496 looks much better than what I have. I did read that one guy couldn't install it on xp. Anybody have that problem?

I run the Audiophile 2496 on XP Pro without problems. Check their site and download the latest driver. A great sound card!

Never had problems on 2 machines running XP.
