new soundcard

It looks like I'm getting a new soundcard for a new machine (Win 7 Premium 64-bit). Anybody got any recommendations or warnings? Firewire or not?

I probably want 6 ins and outs, and MIDI.

I thought I might get a Delta 1010, but there's been a ton of grief from unhappy users with that one.
