Hi!

This is my new song "Frosty Skies" - but it sounds really bad. The song is actually quite good (I hope :)) But I'm pretty newb at mixing and stuff. If anyone wants to give me some tips... :)

Enjoy

Hahaha, holy crap this took me a long time to download. I was listening to a mix in cakewalk and I had forgotten I was downloading it.

THIS has like the strangest pan I have ever heard. I feel Like the acoustic guitar is .... BEHIND ME??? This is the widest mix i've ever heard, did you use surround sound or something??? :D

This is a very weird feeling but I like it. Maybe it has to do with my listening environment and I'm getting strange room reflections.

The song is very rough but I think it totally has potential. Kind of slightly floydish progressions I think. Good job. If you really spend a great amount of detail to each track and getting every part to come down quality I think you will have yourself a winner.

I hear early 70s Floyd as well. Maybe a Radiohead influence on the vocal? Very cool. I think the reverb on the acoustic is maybe a bit heavy and the slides on the chords are really distracting. Either improve the technique or find some way to tone that down.

Cheers guys. I put this up without realising how poor the panning actulaly sounded (and reverb), and realised that I had messed up pretty much everything, so I'd expect a PROPER version soon :)

I feel its a good song in terms of music, but not technical ability!!

And also, I'm trying to figure out how to sort out the squeaky-slide thing. I've tried finger moisterer, but it didnt seem to help. Anyone?

The panning is too extreme. The hiss is almost unbearable and there are a pops and clicks in a few different places.
