Bassman...The drums are Alesis, the first one that came out I think. Yeah I guess I did mix it a little hot, I had an alesis:rolleyes: EQ inserted into the bass chanel trying to get some mud out of it, thats when the speaker went on me. Thanks for the kind words man, and I'll check your tune when I get back today.

That's a great voice you've got there :) I guess it fits the style perfectly. I thought the snare might have been a touch too loud at the start before the mix filled up, then I realsied bass boost was on. Guitar work is great throughout. What's a 20/20, and what difference if any did that make to the song, I didn't hear anything change. Anyway, good work.

I think the rest of the fellas covered just about everything I had to say. Just to reiterate, the vocals are well done and the tune is structured well. THe guitar sounds are very good

jags thanks man. The 20/20's are the monitors I'm using, and what I ment about it going out 5min's in the mix, I really ment when i was just setting levels, and fooling with tones. Thanks for the words bro..

A Little Hot? Scorchin!!!

Great song top to bottom, but no wonder you blew a speaker!! I listened to this in the office, and it damn near melted my poor little PC speakers!!!

I brought the MP3 home and tried again on my monitors, and it still gets real muddy and distorted in the loud parts of the song.

Your vocals sound a bit like Charlie Daniels (I mean that as a compliment).

I'm with the others who want to hear the 'remix'.

Thanks for the listen Queue. Well the mix itself really wasn't that loud, ( but was distorted and muddy) it was when I ran it thru wavelab and added the loudness maxamizer that it became a LOUD MUDDY DISTORTED mix:) . Hope I can do better when I get the monitor's going again...Thanks
 
Excellent vocals and vocal sound. The guitar sound and playing fine indeed. Great dynamics to the tune. The ending had me fooled! Bring it down and bring it back up - great execution.

As stated in previous feedback, the mix is murky - but I'd love to hear this remix'd.

Song was very enjoyable. Keepem coming. :)
 
Hey thanks for your very kind words psmith66, glad you enjoyed. Hopefully I can get a re-mix soon on it, was thinking of taking one of the electrics out (there's three, and two of them sound to much alike) and putting an acoustic in there. I had two acoustic tracks and one electric in the first version of that song and it really had a diffrent mood, dont know but I might try it though, and it was alot easier to mix also...thanks.
