Wow Jason I really appreciate the indepth feedback. I love criticism of all kinds and am open to everything constructive.
Most of my songs in the past have all been on a slower pace then this one and for this album im putting together ive tried to push into my speedier side. 10-20 takes? really? Hell ive always had trouble mixing and making those turn out the way I want them to. I will have to give that a try. My biggest influence with these vocal effects/harmonies would be tech nine. I have the feeling he is actually using a harmonizer but ive been trying to get those vocal techniques down.
That last part on the second verse was a monster!! lol that was probably take 150. I will give it another go.
I also thought the same thing about the chorus at the end. I put this song out there to get this kind of feedback because alot of the other songs are going to have this style and im definitely not the most experienced in it.
