mechanical disorder is my latest, now let me get this clear because apparently the people who posted in my last post requesting C&C didn't understand what I was asking for, I want comments on the MUSIC and critiques of the MUSIC and nothing else, I don't really feel like getting 10 responses that make no sense and have no bearing towards the subject of the post, please stay on topic and if you are going to say "it sucks" i'd like you to tell me why because telling me "it sucks" does nothing for me but show me your stupidity.

i do like the drums when they kick in around..1:00 er so...this is remeniscent of N.I.N. without the angst-ridden vox.....i will say the real heavy distorted bass heavy parts ..(sorta explosive sounding ones).get absolutely lost on my cheap-o comp speakers...throu 1500 watts of something else im sure they rock..anyway keep it up...this would sound cool w/ a distorted guitar loop in it.......imo....

I hear no decernable melody or hook. To me it sounds like a recording of machinary. I won't say it sucks but I can't listen to it.

sounds like background music for a video game.. The music you would here when you unlocked the door that leads to the machine room.. Except it is not recorded well because the louder sounds are filled with crackle..

there's several "tones" inside this song that flow / are "related" to each other (drum beats, synth noises, guitar chords) if you want me to take a screenshot of the sequencing (arrangement of single notes in succession.) I will do so gladly, learn the meanings of the words you are using to avoid embarrassing yourself.

Most of the crackle is intentional and the rest comes from the lower quality of the mp3 due to the space restraints nowhereradio has.
 
Well my friend, I was really trying to be nice. Now that I know the meaning of the word "melody" I'll try to apply this knowledge (I feel sooooo embarrassed).
I listened to the rest of your crap and have decided it sucks. No, to say it sucks is an insult to tunes that suck. Your shit is beyond sucking. Suck on my friend, suck on.
 
That mean's a lot coming from you ;). I find it strange that a large amount of this community uses studio monitors and the only bad criticism (if you want to call the pathetic excuse for criticism given here that) iv'e gotten was from people here. If i'm not mistaken I thought studiomonitors produce pure sound which can take away from music. Just a thought, I love how this communitiy welcomes visitors, i'll be sure to reccomend this place for anyone looking for a community full of idiots who have no clue how to reply with usefull information. Thanks, i'll be leaving now. I'll quote you when I say to this forum "Your community is beyond Sucking".

Based on the earlier responses, I can't wait to hear this (downloading now). I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music, in fact, I think music recordings are the ultimate in sound design because they are not dependent or subserviant to any other medium ie pictures. (still downloading). Is it just me or is there a need on this board for people to hear things in a standardized way? I can't help but feel like if we were using old 4 track Tascam cassette recorders and DX7's we'd have a lot more to say about the ingenuity that goes into our home recordings rather than our inabilitily to achieve the best sounds possible for any playback situation. It's wonderful how computer technology has given just about anyone the ability to record music (or anything else) at a level that allows us to compare it to state of the art recording studios manned by people who's lives and careers have been dedicated to achieving the best possible sound, and in our bedrooms no less. Am I rambling?

Okay, finally downloaded...

The title describes the piece perfectly. I wouldn't call this a song in the classic definition, more like a sonic daydream. I like the analogee voices throughout, and the spacey percussion especially how you use them to achieve dynamics. I would take peoples strong opinions about your music as a compliment. Keep with your muse, it's pushing you in a very interesting direction. Don't let some negative responses change your opinion of this board. Getting feedback, bad or good, is what it's all about, in the end you have to do what makes you happy.

well...with your attitude, I'd have to call you a self centered prick. Go ahead and split, as you won't be missed...nor the trash of sound you make either. At this point, I don't care if you are 16, 36, or 106. I put up two posts in the vein of this puke music, composing it all in a first take. My efforts lasted the length of the individual pieces. [I believe] that the people that were courteous to listen and make [positive?] comments did so, because I have reciprocated to them in the past. They [assumingly] knew it sucked, but because I had posted in other genres, were nice enough to offer some positive statements. This is where you fall short, dick-head. You deserve nothing, so I would take your crap and crawl back under the rock you came from. Recommendations from you, for others to come to this site. No thanks either. Btw, I have no interest to listen to your new "creation" ...I am sure it sucks as much as the others...if not worse.

Hey mix, I just recorded about 10 minutes of the washing machine running and I mixed in a bit of the dryer right when it goes into the spin cycle. It rocks. Wanna hear it? No???

yeah I think I took people here a little too seriously considering I don't even know them, can't always get positive feedback (or even constructive) oh well I tried.
 
Well I took a listen and it's interesting to say the least. I'm not into anything like this, industrial, or ambient or experimental or whatever it may be. But I won't knock you for it. Sounds like something that someone would dig.
I don't want to ride the attitude thing, seems like from your last post you kind of get it. But you're not doing yourself any favors with an initial post like the one here, you're setting people up to have an attitude right back at you. And then to comment on their comments with more attitude is only going to alienate you on this board. We're all individuals here entitled to our opinions and if you chose to post your stuff to expose to the world, see that most are probably have commetns that may not agree with you. There are people who have been doing this for a long time and they won't appreciate a newbie coming in telling them they don't know how to listen to or comment on music. Take it with a grain of salt and learn from what you hear. Arguing doesn't solve audio problems. My $.02, carry on

apology accepted. But I have to tell you, the stuff you have probably heard of mine where probably the last two posts I put up...and they were INTENTIONALLY PURE SHIT. It's too strange a world to realize that some people like you didn't/couldn't realize that. Some of the crap that has been hitting the boards just needed a sarcastic example of what it sounded like, and coincidently, yours sounded just about the same, in my opinion. Noise for the sake of noise. If you had a direction or a theme, or even some sort of reason why the sounds you came up with are what they are, rather than sounding like morphing equipment to sound it's weirdest[aka potentially worst], it would be tolerable. Compounded with your earlier attitude made it tough to choke down. Anyway...enough said. Seems like you've come to some sort of reason, and I've calmed down enough from telling little pricks where they can go. Both bad attitudes in my book, actually. So...why don't you back up, and tell why [or some sane reason] you've come to what you are presenting...and I'll keep ignoring it...eh?:D
 
your music sounds nothing like mine, it is a bunchve blatently stupid sound effects with van halen guitar, I don't see how that makes it the same as my music, mine has drums, synth sounds, it doesnt have woofing dogs or mis matched guitar solos, so you know, I can't really take anything you say seriously if you say my music sounds the same as what youve made. no offense.

If you took that music post seriously, I can't help you....and it proves to me that you CAN'T be serious yourself. You can't even tell crap from the real thing. That post was pure bullshit. ...mocking the noise freaks like yourself. But for some reason..{and even with my above post....and the FUCKING posts in those particular threads} you can't see the day for the light. Ever heard of a joke??
