I lived in Houston for a year and got lost on the Rice campus trying to find my cousins apartment so I can relate to this in a small way :D

Crystal clear mix Dave....I can really hear every single stroke/beat in its entirety and in its own space....as close to a commercial release as possible

I think this is a perfect example of a balanced mix imho...real talent there bud, both in execution and mix

Really nice Chili. I like songs that take me somewhere and this one definitely does. The vocals are very much out in front, but I think it works - not sure I'd be brave enough to do that.

Mix sounds good - only thing I thought was maybe the backing vocals could come up in the last verse. They're so lush that they seem to me a great bed for that ending section to lie on.

Ha, that 'brave' or that 'stupid'?? :D Ya know, I don't think the BGV's are sung so great. If I brought them up more, then people could hear that. :o Thanks for listening and the good words.

Wow, very cool. Thanks much!! :)

Not much to say, except one thing which, for some reason or another bugged me through the whole song. The kick beat on the 3rd measure of every repetition seems to have a super loud "click" to it, where the rest are just thuds. Pretty big disparity there. Make em' consistent, and I'd call it cooked.
