Whats up?Haven't posted anything in awhile so thought I would share this beauty...had a real shitty week at work ...felt like I was a idiot magnet,evreywere i went I was surronded by mouthbreathers and shoe gazers!Had a few beers,then a few more :rolleyes: and wrote/recorded this tune last night...its very rough but what the hell..it was like therapy!I feel better now.
Any thoughts/critiques are welcome as I might approach my band with playing this one,I think it would be fun.Thanks!

Actually, sounds like a cool tune. Straight up rock, with a bit of humor.....I like it.

Thanks Dog!This is the 1st tune Ive sang were I kinda really tried to belt it out...not sure if it sounded good but it sure felt good ;) !

Yeah the best therapy in the world for me is cranking up the guitar and jamming.
This tune is a ton of fun to listen to! :D belt out the tunes too vocals too, sounds cool! They sound a tad bit down in the mix, but these headphones are bad bad bad, so don't trust that just yet ;)
Your guitar playing rocks too! It's wild and fun. Killer solo, I love the divebomb at the end.

Nothing wrong with this, man. Reading your first post, I was expecting a real joke song or a throwaway tune. This rocks. I notice your singing getting better by leaps and bounds every time you post something new. And your guitar playing is AWESOME, as it always is. Love it.
 
cool song.. maybe a bit much on the high end and compression..

Snake - Thanks for the feedback,yeah,my voice was hurting the next day after doing this one...not use to yelling like that :rolleyes: !Im gonna remix this one a bit as it pretty much is in a "as recorded state" right now.Would love to colab with you guys...anytime,just let me know!

RAMI - Thats cool your thinking my singing has gotten better (it couldn't get much worse :D ) all the feedback and tips Iv'e gotten from this site have really helped.I alos appreciate the guitar comments...I play pretty sloppy at times,but I guess it works for my songs.

B.SABBATH - Yeah the mix/EQ is wacked right now,working on a re-mix to get it better.Thanks for the feedback!


bigbubba - Yeah!GnR are a big fav of mine...especially thew 1st 2 albums, Appetite and Lies...I really dig Slash's style/sound so I'm sure some of that comes out in my playing!Thanks for checking it out!

Hey, nice guitar playing variaxman! Everything's really tight. When I saw the title I thought it would be a take-off on Wizard of Oz' Scarecrow's song.... nope, heh-heh. Agree with B.Sabbath - it'd sound good with a bit more lows and low mids.

thanks Tim..after hearing this mix on sevral diffrent systems, I agree about the lack of low end,gonna try remix today.

awesome tune and guitar tone. :cool: just curious did you play the backing drums and bass also or did u use a backing track?
 
Great Rockin Tune man. Love that guitar solo especially the whammy parts!
Was almost expecting you to smash the guitar into your amp at the end to signify your total frustration with the morons you had to deal with that day :D But they're not worth the cost of a new guitar and amp...... :D

I kept getting an error when I clicked on your direct link though - the typical "Windows Media Player encountered an error and has to close" garbage. Anyway I just used the other link to soundclick and pressed the hi-fi link. I'm assuming it's the exact same link - damn Windows....

Cool, yeah we'll have to get some ideas flowing sometime soon :D I know what you mean about the voice too. I've had a few beer influenced yelling vocal fests and my throat and voice paid for that a few days after.

Hey and nice remix by the way. I heard the first one on headphones so I can never judge bass on those babies, but on my home system I can definitely hear some good low end. And again, the song rocks! Cheers to rocking ;)

Yeah.I did the guitars and Bass...drums are drum loops from drumatic.
