the duo - drowning in time

Sounds like you have a pretty good song here. The hi-fi version is only 56K, so the encoding quality makes it hard to hear very much. You should post a higher bitrate version, at least 128K, or higher if you can.

I can't help much because of the quality of the MP3, but I like what I hear so far. Sounds like some of the vocals got really loud and clipped.

Good song and arrangement. I like the triple meter intro, and the change to duple meter at around :30. The guitars are played and recorded well. Maybe a little too much low and low mid buildup in the mix. The vocals are spiky in level throughout and there's some clipping there. A lot of that is probably mic technique, but fader riding and compression could help - except for the clipping of course which really needs a retracking of the vocals.

The soft instrumental section around 3:30 preceding the shredder gtr is maybe too long. It loses interest. The following section though is great.

This song has lots of potential.

Cool song but i aint diggin the mix. Its really muddy cut some mids on some of the instruments maybe or put a high pass over some of the tracks. The vocals are mixed relly bad and clip. Slap a compressor on the vocals. Sorrry but this sounds bad. mostly because of the vocals not being compressed properly.
Guitars sound like they have been recorded direct and the drums sound like samples.
Keep it up though as i said cool song, but could do with alot of work on the recording/mixing side of things.

thank you people for your suggestion and comments
band still works with some very old equipment but they are planning to buy something better some day
about the vocals, drums and guitar...
band uses some terrible mic so thats why it sounds bad
guitars are recorded directly and drums are samples because band cant buy so many mics to record drum set
but stil listen to the duo!!!

Patience.

All I can say is you want to stay out of the red. The singing is clipping damn near the whole song, it very distracting from everything else.
That snare sound you have doesn't match the kind of music. Add a little verb and bring em down a bit.

Guitar playing rocks.
Song rocks.

its sound more like hip hop thing but i have nothing to do with it
