On the mix or the song. Thanks! I think the mix is a bit muddy...but retro? I kinda liked it.

My thoughts are, take some shine off off the vocal reverb (If your reverb lets you EQ the verb, pull down the above 4-5K area and maybe EQ out below 1K). You're right, a bit muddy, but I think if you worked the EQ on the source vocals, pull down the 250 HZ area (sweep to find you area), I think the mix would still be to your liking and not sound muddy.

Nice one! I like how you start on the ii chord and move up from there to the V6 chord. Great guitar tones. There are a few flat spots in the vocals that I think could be polished up; I'd also like to hear the very opening of the song a little tighter with everyone starting together; it's a bit loosey goosey right now. I like the falsetto moments in the vocals! I hadn't heard you do that before (maybe you have?), but it's a nice tone.

I second DM60's comment about the vocals being a bit muddy. I'd (if you haven't already) add a hi-pass filter around 100Hz-ish and then sweep to find the boomy part of it in the low mids (probably between 200 and 300 Hz) and apply a bit of a cut there.

Your input is always great. Thank you for all the thoughts on it.

Regarding the opening chords, it’s actually an A minor chord moved up to the second fret. So I think that is B/A Minor 11th? But the bass guitar is playing the B. So I’m not really sure. Then that chord slides up two more frets. So I think that is Amaj7. But the base is playing C#. So first inversion, I guess.

Yeah, I’ve never done that falsetto! I’ll have the girls in the band cover that. Haha.

I fixed a few of the pitchy notes and re-uploaded to the original post. Is that better? When I cut the mud it sounded a bit harsh to my ears, so I just left it. Let's call it "full"...haha.

There is masking going on with what I think you are calling ‘muddiness’ - also I think you should do the vocals about
100 times more and then cut a final one - they sound very cautious.
