one word...

Smart!

Good stuff Teddie.

But I must be dead, it didn't make me want to get up and dance.

flattop, hey bro. Yeah, you'll definitely make some good friends here, man. Keep me updated on your recording efforts.

David, how ya doin'! Thanks for listening. I'm glad you liked it. Hey, it's funny about that lead guitar... The first time she listened to the song, she started giggling when the lead guitar part came in and I was like "What's so funny???" and she said, "You also have to have your little fuzzy guitar in there somewhere" :) Well, yah.

Meshuggah, hey, thanks for listening. I've actually got a seperate post on this BB asking folks to help me with a "Horny Mix" of the song:

I'll let you know when it's complete :)

James, hey, I'm glad you liked it. I'll call the paramedics ;)

Hi Ron, I've never used an SM58. I've always used an SM57. (I used my SM57 in this song as usual) :)

Hey Ted, how's it going? Too bad to hear about those fingers. Hope all is well now.

I tried to get the song but mp3.com seems to be having some problems.

I'll try again later.

Listening to Ska-radio on mp3.com, and this song I thought I recognized popped up.. Seems like you have the 3rd most played ska-song on mp3.com here.... It sure is a great song, keep it up man.

Power Tracks, eh?

Teddie -

I've only been checking this board out for about a week or so, and here you are! You're everywhere, man! (In case you don't recognize me by the handle this is Andrew of Aquamarine).

I never would have pegged you as a Power Tracks user. Personally, I gave up on it about a year ago after it started severely clipping my audio tracks. It got to the point where I couldn't normalize anything without horrible digital distortion. How do you do it?...Anyway, I must agree with the masses here: nice clean recording, and the song kicks major ass!

Oh, man, I'm really out of the loop. Sorry guys, I've been horribly swamped.

MrLip, how you doin' bro. Nice to see ya around. Were you ever able to download that thing? My hand is doing much better now. Still can't agressively pick my nose with my left hand, but I usually use my right one anyway.

Meshuggah, thanks much for listening. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was hanging out at the #2 spot for a few weeks, but it's dropping like a stone right now.

Andrew, what's up friend! Yeah, I've been a PowerTracks user since the day I got rid of my analog equipment. I actually haven't used the normalize function... What are you using for multitracking now-a-days?

Okay, folks, I gotta get back to being stressed and swamped.

Folks,

"I Drank Alot Today", was chosen to be on the upcoming multimedia CD-Rom titled "MP3.com's Free Sampler CD, Spring 2001". You can hear the song right now at: http://mp3.com/smartapple AND get your own FREE copy of the MP3.com's "Free Sampler CD, Spring 2001" CD for free! by going to: http://www.mp3.com/freecd

I'm pretty excited, cuz it's going to be a huge distribution, hopefully.

Thanks for everyone's input on the mix -- it's been a huge help in getting the song sounding decently tight.

:) :) :) :) :)
