Thats hot!I like the beat..id love to hear it with vocals.

Yeah supreme that's real nice work, nice sample too. Definitely add a basseline to that. That offset kick kinda throws it off a little though.

wordddd i def gotta get a bassline on there... i still need to work on my basslines tho...

I like the reason too, yeah it's not hard to manipulate a sample but it's hard to find the right sample...lol

it's not hard to chop up a sample but for me it's hard to get the vocals right.....so if anyone can explain how they eliminate the backround behind vocals so they sound clear lemme know

from what i've learned you dont take the background from the vocals...... u just get a sample where theirs not muich music or you work around it.... but incorporating it into the beat....... i still havent mastered that yet... but i like this joint tho.... matta fact this gives me inspiritation to go look for some samples and try some more

you can't really do too much with a sample w/ vocals. I usually roll off the low end though to get rid of any bass or lower the drums in a sample especially if I want the vocals to stand out.

samples with vocals work GREAT.

now... what you really need to learn is which chops go best together.

i love taking vocal samples with ill instrumentation behind it.
