new screamo/post-hardcore song

I looking to get some feedback on this new song. I got another screamo band come into the studio last weekend .

Vocals are different - screamo and clean at the same time.....this tune has two distinct flavors to it :)
I like the overall mix and the compression you've got on this. It's even and pretty smooth despite the vocals sounding like they fluctuate a bit (on the clean parts). The drums sit nicely and the snare is good...I'd be pretty happy with this mix if I was the band....

thanks for the comments. I was a little worried about the amount of compression I applied to each instrument and the overall mix.

The mix has a good feel to it like a live show. Good balance between the vox and lead guitars. Drumset is kind of hidden though, fighting for space with the bass and rhythm guitar.

thanks Tim, I will have to look at the drum tracks again. Maybe I will adjust it with eq so that its not fighting with the bass guitar.
 
Overall it sounds very lofi. Maybe that was the sound you were going for though. It sounds jarbled to my ears; kick sounds like it clips at times. Personally, I would separate instruments further by panning more extremely. Is that auto-tune on the vocals? The mix does sound a bit overcompressed too.
 
good ears my friend, I did use an auto-tune on the vocals. Im considering removing the compression on the entire mix, and leaving the compression on the instruments. I will take our suggestion, and playing with the panning.
