Hey guys, this is a project I recorded for someone this past week. Two songs are full band, one is all acoustic. The vocals suck (home boy cant sing a lick, lol), but I think it came out damn good for a rushed, slapped together project with cheap instruments. :D

Let me know what you think.

On the full band stuff, I played drums and bass and the lead acoustic parts, and I did all the backup vocals you here (which are definately not the best, I've been sicker than a dog). Keep in mind again, the performances arent extremely great as it was a rushed thing (maybe 3 or 4 takes).

DRUMS AND BASS SOUND GREAT!!! lol - actually, I thought the cymbals were phasing, but then I downloaded and they sound much better. I thought you did an admirable job under the circumstances, but you're right...the pitchiness of the vocal is really distracting.

I thought "So Cold" was pretty good musically....but I didn't get all the extra stuff at the end..

As far as the vocals.....the band won't go anywhere until this guy either learns pitch control or is replaced...I know that's mean but I would never even post a song with vocals that were that bad.

People will be alot more forgiving about your playing but when it comes to singing, you better at least be able to hold pitch.

Hope I didn't offend anyone.

Honest opinions are greatly appreciated, lol. Basicly this was just a guy and an acoustic. No band really. I was the band. :D But thanks for the compliments on the bass/drums. I thought they came out particularly good as well. You wouldnt believe the setup I used. Two Behringer B1s as overheads (which were placed farther out in the room a little higher than the cymbals, an AKG D112 on kick (place out in front of the front head by the port), and a 57 on snare. All direct into my Aardvark and into Nuendo. One hell of a sound for such a minimal setup. Thanks again guys.

Anyone else got anything to say?
